Do you want to live on Yerba Buena Island?
Commutes are easy as we hop onto the Bay Bridge in the middle with no
congestion or tolls. Driving to downtown SF is less than 10 minutes and 15 mins to
Berkeley or Oakland. MUNI stops at the end of the block every 20 minutes to
the Transbay Bus Terminal in SF, 24 hours a day.
Our unit is in the former Coast Guard Base in the middle of The Bay - access
to Oakland or SF by Bay Bridge. The island itself is a unique and wonderful
place to live. There's a police and fire station, making it very safe.
There's a store where basic supplies can be bought and videos can be rented. There
are public footpaths around the island excellent for jogging/cycling,
rollerblading, tennis courts, basketball courts, soccer fields, GYM, a PRIVATE HIDDEN
BEACH only a few hundred feet away! and small Marina on Treasure Island.
Breathtaking views of SF, Alcatraz, Marin, Vallejo, Berkeley hills, Oakland,
Alameda, The Golden Gate Bridge, Bay Bridge, and San Rafael Bridge.
About our home
Our home is three bedrooms, with a small garden area, free parking. It has
partial views of GG bridge, SF, Alcatraz, Marin and The Bay. Amenities include
shared bathroom, full size kitchen, large living room and dining area. We
have a nice entertainment center with a brand new 53" HD television; Kitchen
thats fully equipped with plenty of cupboard space, microwave, dishwasher,
garbage disposal, toaster oven, gas range and oven, linoleum floor. Washing
Machine / Dryer in the house
House is mostly furnished with spare space for your stuff. We have plenty of
room and are also planning on getting some new furniture depending on what
you may have. The bedroom is not furnished except for your own 36 inch TV that
comes with the room! Room is wired for separate phone, cable, DSL. It has a
closet in the room as well as one right outside the door in the hallway. Nice
new beige berber carpeting. We do not have a house phone as we have
cellphones but there is a line in your room if you would like to activate it.
Available November 1st - $750 month
First and Last month + 500 Security Deposit = $2000 total move in cost
This includes ALL UTILITIES: water, electricity, gas, sewer, garbage, cable
tv, laundry, high speed internet - except telephone. (cable internet
potentially coming soon)
You: any age, sex, orientation, nationality welcome. Must be a DRAMA FREE,
clean, stable, professional person with a good stable job wanting to move in
by November 1st. We all pitch in on household shopping such as toiletpaper,
lightbulbs, laundry detergent, etc and generally buy most of our own food but
dont mind sharing everything as long as its kept equal as far as purchases vs
consumption.
There are currently two people living in the condo one in each of the other
bedrooms. We're both males in our mid 20's. We're both sane and responsible,
and easy to get along with. We have busy work and social lives that keep us
out and about most of the time but we do enjoy spending some time hanging out
at home. We occasionally have small dinner gatherings here or friends over to
watch a movie. One of us works full time for a home audio/video install
company, the other is a bay area event/marketing director. We're looking for
anyone that can pay the rent on time, can help out in keeping the place clean
from time to time and just basically someone that we can get along with enough
to like living where we do. This is a one in a million location that everyone
loves. Once you see the island and the ultimate central location, beauty, and
amenities you will fall in love and never want to move anywhere else!
